Established in 2013 with the mission to revolutionize sexual health education and research in Nepal, the Nepalese Institute of Human Sexuality (NIOHS) has emerged as a pioneering institution under the visionary leadership of Dr. Subodh Kumar Pokharel. With registration number 112806/69/070, NIOHS is dedicated to academic activities, training, and research-based programs. It offers full-time postgraduate diplomas, masters degrees, and doctoral programs in human sexuality.

Collaborating with the South Asia Institute of Human Sexuality (SAIHS) in Pakistan since May 15, 2013, and also an associated member of the World Association for Sexual Health (WAS), NIOHS has elevated the standards of sexual health education and practice in the region.The South Asia Institute for Human Sexuality (SAIHS) and the SEXUALHEALTH CLINIC were established on Saturday, October 9, 2004 (24 Shaban Ul Muazzam 1425) in Pakistan, South Asia, to provide appropriate treatment, therapy, and counseling to individuals suffering from various sexual disorders.
